"Im doing good as usual! Elder moore and i had a great week! We had our two baptisms on saturday. It went very very well! as you can imagine baptisms are a little different here. We had about 15 people there.haha We had our mission leader, member of the bishop councel, a few members of the ward and a few investigators. i was SO excited when i was our investigators walk in. it was a young family we have only taught twice and they are super excited about things :) Mateo and luisa are there names. they have a baby thats four months old also. Anyways! i didnt baptize either of them. they get to choose and wanda chose elder moore and estefani chose hermano sergio. He´s a member of the high councel. super super good guy. we visit his family often to teach and ask for references and he just says LETS GO WORK! ha ha he´s a good guy."

"The other photo is just of our apartment. elder moore is shuttin the bottom gate. we have a lock on our door. a gate in front of the door with bars that lock on bottom and top. and that gate at the bottom of the stairs. which is funny because today i asked elder moore why we have all that ridiculious security. He told me things at night are not safe at all! haha in ponce (area about ten blocks away) is having gang wars right now. he said someone dies about every night haha. super gnarly. OH and bytheway. that reminds me... Elder moore and i got 4000 pesos stolen from us. SUPER not ok with that. We went to the ATM to take our apollo out and we could only take 2000 out. well the machine had been tampered with and another person got our info and charged our cards again about 30 minutes later. Aparently that happens alot. people rig the machines with card readers and stuff. I called the office and they did some research and now the whole mission cant use that same bank. This week has been rough as far as money haha right now i have about 100ish pesos.. thats like 3.15cents... till next thursday. im gonna have to find some gineo trees around hahaha. its all good. I´ll keep praying that the office will give us that 4000 back."
"You guys would not believe the rain here.... haha it just POURS for 10...20ish minutes so hard that you cant see very far haha. They picture i sent is a little tiny rain storm. It can rain so hard you cant see a block away haha and gutters just fill up with muddy gross trashy water."
"My spanish is getting better. Some days are harder than others... but i am doin ok. Last night was transfer night and i found out that i am stayin here with elder moore for another transfer :) very excited about this! now its time to buckle down and learn some spanish!!!! haha I love it here. Los Guaricanos is the best area for me. Thank you family i love you SO SO much. the church is true. Remember that you are representantes of jesucristo ALL the TIME!! so be an example to the unbelielers. Something that i am truly learning right now is that EVERY single person is a child of God. Treat everyone with love and kindness. I would suggest doing little gifts of service. you´d be suprized what that will do to someones heart. especially during the christmas season. love you all!!! i´ll talk to you next week. ps... mom. i dont know what it is but the humidity just destroys everything here haha i figured out that i can freeze my gum.. thats working out good. but starbursts and things like that dont make it haha love you so much mom i am thankfull for everything you do. if you send anything this week.... make sure it has a magic bullet in it hahaha they have passionfruit here.. SO SO SO good. its amazing! LOVE you!!!"
