real life, back off!

Last night I realized I really, really miss art. It's probably been 1.5 years since I've done a project and in that time I've completely abandoned both my camera AND all Adobe programs (shame!!@##@@!!!_).

Today, project "real life, back off!" begins:

The highest rated comment has probably made today's 10 minute youtube experience worth it. I can't believe I haven't wasted more time going back and forth between shark videos. Then again, I guess it is my bamillionth time looking the them up.

Ha! What a JOKE.

REALLY?

There are 4 employees at work: One is having Thanksgiving two weeks early with her side of the family and her husband. One is originally from here- SO, her family lives in town- WHICH MEANS she probably doesn't even HAVE to travel. One, the manager, has a full-on family of her own. Husband, kids, and whatnot, no more than 30 minutes away from place of employment. [Yeah, that seems like a lot but, she drives that distance every day for work anyways.]

Now... every happy holiday experience I could know and love is at least an hour+ away. Every. Single. One. No husband, no local family, nada.

And I have to open on BLACK FRIDAY?
At 6 am?

REALLY?

And I'm working by myself, no less.

If it's a one person job the manager should do it! She gets paid more than me anyway.

PLUS, I had to work Halloween night.

I'm finally getting myself a camera that isn't super inconvenient to carry around! [I've been waiting a long time for this.] Now, the only thing between me and my purchase- is deciding what color to get.

I really like the tan one..But at the same time, getting black just seems like the right thing to do..What a ridiculous dilemma this is!

There are a few things I was wondering if you could take care of for us at apartment 00. One is our dishwasher- it seems to have a problem and is filled with brown scum. Second- the blinds on the kitchen window, the strings are a struggle therefore making it impossible to open the blinds on one side. Third- and I don't know if you can do anything about this but we'd greatly appreciate it if you could- our couch is in really poor condition and could use either new cushions? [I don't even know if that's possible, ha] or to be replaced.

I don't mean to be a pest, but after having to clean up after my rooms previous tenant, cleaning urine off the toilet seat and wiping up a whole forest worth of nasty pubic hair off my bathroom floor, I have to say I feel justified in seeing if we can get some of this other stuff taken care of.

- Hello 75 Degree Weather -

I know this is kind of a pointless post but..
I have nothing better to do while sitting in Natural Disasters. Shorry.

Did you know there was a volcanic eruption in Iceland? I didn't, until right now, of course.

So far today I've spent most of my waking time outside and I'm sho happy about it. I attempted to take a picture of myself on the quad enjoying this nice weather.. but I felt like a real creep sitting there smiling at my computer. So.. No picture.

You know how it is.

We're going swimming today, which is pretty great. Especially because we all have huge Ed Hardy tatts we're going to put on. I'm so excited! Pretty sure [if it doesn't turn freezing again] I'm going to walk around in trashy tank tops until it rubs off.

So classic.

P.s. Want to hear something ludicrous---> In 2003, Logan had a fire.

The cause:

A hawk completed the circuit of two separate power lines by touching the tips of both wings to each- thus, exploding the bird into fire and causing the grasses to catch once it fell. Holy cow! Lesson learned- Don't make power lines exactly a hawks wingspan away from each other.
