HOLLA!

This morning the power was out, due to incredibly high winds in Davis County, which made things fun and exciting except that each time I went into my closet to get something, I turned around to find my sister's jammied self directly before me, holding completely still and staring, wide-eyed, at me through the darkness.

The first time, I screamed/had a heart attack and chased her out of the room. Not even five minutes later, I was back in my closet and remembered I hadn't locked the door, turned to lock it and there she was again!!!!!!

I screamed/had a heart attack and punched her in the chest/neck on accident. Basically, she fell to the ground, rolling with laughter.

ROFL, FER REAL.

OH MY!@#!# I WAS SO SCARED! But, the rest of the morning was good. I ate a candlelit breakfast with my sisters, showered in the dark..

[Not as scary as I thought it would be]

..and had an eventful drive to work, during which I saw 4 tipped semi-trucks and experience many pieces of debris and gravel hitting the left side of my car.

- Have A Heart -

[Sorry for those of you who read Megan's blog too, this post will be semi-familiar because we're in somewhat of the same predicament.]

I figure this:

If I work for 8 hours a day, at $8.33 an hour, starting this Monday, for every weekday of every week until the end of August, I'll have 4,000 for school.

So, I've spent the past little while searching desperately for jobs, turning in applications and resumes left and right. Really, I am starting to feel like I've single handedly taken on every business in the county and still I feel like nothing works.

I want to go to school in the Fall. I
need to go to school in the Fall.

I'm feeling a little hopeless.

Does anyone know of any job opportunities?
I'm capable and willing to learn anything.
I'm willing to work all hours, every day of the week [except Sunday].

Please, help me.

[I'm glad I just looked into my backyard and saw Nate Fronberg, shirtless with his pants pulled up to his chest, jumping on the trampoline like a dork. Ha. It made my day a little better.]

PS. Greatness =
No one likes to be left out.

Easter is wonderful.

Picky's:
Easter egg dying party!

Paige, Tori, Jake, Heidi, and my best friend Tomas- I love them all.

^ Geeks- No doubt!

^ Grossest mustache ever. Sickest goggle lines ever. Most creative creature egg ever.

^ Mine were the top row. Tomas' were the bottom.

Easter Morning/Day/Night

That picture is the epitome of my family. Goose fighting Jake's sock. Jake making a weird face. Half the family not even paying attention. Me smiling in the background. And Nate in the middle of it all.. He's not even part of our family. Why he was eating Easter breakfast with us? .. I don't know. CLASSIC.

We spent the evening at grandma's eating, playing games, and Easter egg hunting... So what if I was the only one over the age of 15 participating. I do what I want, okay? Ha.

^Almost ever egg I picked up someone would say "Mandy- That egg is too easy! Leave that one for the little kids!" .. Which is totally lame because- since I kept having to put them back- by the time everyone was done- I only had 3 eggs.. When I was supposed to have already gotten 20! [I never did find all mine, I stopped at 16 and gave up- story of my life.]

^So in 'love', it's disgusting.

^This is one of my favorite girls on the whole planet. Her name is Jordyn. And in this picture- she's pretending to pick up dog poo. GROSSY.

^ This is my cousin, Megan. She sleeps with her eyes half open and crossed.

^My bestie cousin and I.

^I love my grandparents. They're the greatest people ever. And every time I go see them- my grandpa gives me homemade berry jam because I love it so much. (: Best part of my life - no doubt.

- Honey Candy -

On Sunday I went home for the Superbowl and got to spend a little time with my family. While I was there, we attempted to make honey candy for a third time. Our candy turned out super delicious but it wasn't near as nicely crafted as grandmas always is. Maybe one day we'll perfect the art.
