shawn...oh dear shawn...ya, we're not really good friends anymore. LONG story.
i met a few friends in vienna on their way home from jerusalem and we just spent 2 1/2 weeks wandering. it was a really spur-of-the-moment, do what/go where we want, minimal planning trip. it was an adventure to say the least...some awesome, some not-so awesome. i'd do it again in a heartbeat though. but i'd probably plan a little more or at least do more guided tours. i actually blogged about it quite a bit if you want to read about it, it is in the may 2009 archives.
i didn't take a camera cause i went with 5 girls that i knew would be taking pictures up the wazoo plus one that's a really good amateur photographer. and i have a tendency to lose cameras. or get them stolen.
okay apparently i didn't blog about it as much as i thought. if you want more details i can e-mail them easier. or if you were interested in doing something like that and want to know about planning/prices/hostels/trains, etc.. let me know and i'd be more than happy to tell you what i know.
