- The Con By Tegan & Sara -

I listened in,
Yes, I'm guilty of this, you should know this.
I broke down and wrote you back,
Before you had a chance to.
Forget forgotten, I am moving past this,
Giving notice.
I have to go,
Yes, I know that feeling, know you're leaving.

Spelled out your name and list the reasons.
Faint of heart, don't call me back.
I imagine you and I was distant, not existent.
I followed suit and laid out on my back,
Imagine that.
A million hours left to think of you and think of that.

Calm down, I'm calling you to say,
I'm capsized, staring on the edge of safe.
Calm down, I'm calling back to say,
I'm home now and coming around.
Nobody likes to,
But I really like to cry.
Nobody likes me,
Maybe if I cry.

Encircle me,
I need to be taken down.
Encircle me,
I need to be taken down.

I have another assignment at church, I don't think it's even a calling. It's just a task. Every Sunday, I'm supposed attend a genealogy class instead of go to Sunday school. Since yesterday I went to a farewell and I wasn't able to go to the class, today I had an appointment so I could catch up with the class. Weird.

At the appointment, I got assigned a lot of genealogy to do and learned a lot about the PAF genealogy program. Too bad I have a mac and the program won't run on it. And too bad there is a singular genealogy program that runs on a mac and it's ultra pricey. And too bad my mac is having problems anyways- without even having to do genealogy. I just wonder how I am going to do this..

Previous to my genealogy makeup class, I went to the tsc and spent a lot of time there, just thinking about things. While there, I observed the people around me and I experienced the presence of a man exactly like the main character on A Beautiful Mind.

He could have been a professor, but he could have been a student. He wore a blue collared shirt with a rich green sweater over the top. On the table at which he worked, there was a side bag- not like a briefcase, more foreign and ragged looking. He had papers spread all over and he had his hand on his forehead (which was close down by his books). He was older and looked deep into his work. He frequently sent out quick whispers while dodging back and forth between his books. He looked like he was on the edge of a mathematical break through. I sat next to him/ two tables away, for a long time and when I left, he remained..... and he's probably still there. Someone should probably go and ask him when the last time he ate was.
