DAY ONE

We wanted to leave home early, but- that really didn't happen so our departure time was around 11:00 a.m. That left us driving all day. Which was okay because we had good music [for the most part- there were a few times during the trip when I felt a certain ipod would surely cause the death of me.. ] and perfect car snacks to entertain us [we all gained 100 lbs on the trip- NO DOUBT.]

Road Trip = YUM.

Einsteins bagels, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, string cheese, granola bars, Reeses, apples, carrots, fruit snacks [Nemo], Doritos, girl scout cookies, mixed nuts, banana bread, juice boxes, Diet Coke [that's all Carly drinks], banana's, and the best of all- a 24 pack of good 'ol water.

Nothing really to say about the actual drive to Moses Lake except that we dealt with a little bit of everything when it came to weather; snow, rain, wind, hail, sun. And though we almost crashed [whilst going 80 mph in a snow storm only 25 minutes out from our departure point] AND almost ran out of gas [whilst in the middle of nowhere between Logan and Boise] .. we survived. Obviously. Ha.

The picture below is my favorite picture from the drive to Moses Lake. It was on my camera, but we switched drivers and picture takers so often- the actual photographer is unknown. I think Carly took it.

P.s. Upon arriving in Moses Lake- we headed to Big Bend Community College and watched the last half of the play Hello Dolly. Well, we didn't exactly watch it. I guess I should say we 'attended' the last half of it. . Sleep was an unavoidable thing at that point.
